00:00Company narrator: Six clients describe what they looked for in an operating team, how onboarding felt and what day-to-day communication meant to them. This Wealth Automators compilation brings their answers together by person and question. We have edited the original interviews for length while keeping their meaning and individual context. These are company-selected accounts from the time of recording, not an independent sample or a prediction of another owner's results. The complete review editions provide more of each conversation.
00:32Paul: My name is Paul from Long Island. I have a carpentry company over here on the island and I've been in business with Wealth Automators for about two years and I have three stores with them. I have Amazon, eBay and Walmart.
00:47Paul: I just always had an interest in being in business for myself. I work in a service-based industry, you could say blue-collar type of industry, and I just wanted something that I could have passive, residually coming to me.
01:02Paul: I have to go to Manhattan basically every day and I'm working, I'm dealing with clients, I'm dealing with this, that, the third. It's just not convenient for me to have to do it on my own. Automators, they make it so easy for me. I just, I couldn't ask for a better service.
01:18Paul: Yeah, as a business owner myself, I can see right through people's little get-rich-quick schemes. Not at all with Wealth Automators. Other companies that I looked at, besides them, it just seemed like they were promising way too much that they could keep up with Wealth Automators. Like I said, as a business owner myself, I really appreciate someone starting from the ground up and that's what they did.
01:39Paul: Well, first off, I have zero complaints whatsoever. It's been fantastic so far. And you speak about communication. Lamont, you have absolutely been perfect. I have no problem getting in contact with anybody. You've been there anytime I need you. And I got to tell you, it's been fantastic.
01:56Paul: Yeah. I mean, with any business, there's obviously going to be bumps in the road. And yeah, we did hit a couple of snags when we first started, but Wealth Automators and Lamont specifically was so fantastic with helping me through those bumps. Now we're two years in and there's no issues. I have no complaints. My stores are making money. I'm doing fine. And I really, I owe it all to you and Wealth Automators. You guys are great.
02:21Paul: Well, gotta be honest, patience, not something I was always really too good at, uh, especially dealing with multiple companies in this field. I gotta say to people, just trust the process. Like they have your business's best interests at heart and it's not going to be immediate. It's, it's not, it's not right away. All I can say to them is trust the process. That's, that's, that's it. They have your best interests at heart.
02:47Dean: And right off the bat, what Wealth Automators did, which really differentiated themselves in our eyes, was, first of all, Lamont, you are fantastic, you've been very receptive, you've been very friendly, very, you know, on the ball, you're a straight shooter, which I appreciate, you give it, you know, as it is, which I really like. On top of that, you've introduced me to a lot of your other team members, Greg, Ryan, you know, and so forth. So everyone that I've met, Barbara, has all been very straight shooter, is very friendly, very nice, and very professional, right? But what really, really impressed me, which made me want to make the bigger investment in you, which I just, which I've done, is the fact that, I mean, you guys are so above board the way you do things, right? You're going for, you're looking for branding partnerships, you're looking for, you know, sales tax, you know, certificates, you know, you mean, it's not about rushing to do it, to make the money, it's about doing it right, for longevity, right?
03:37Dean: You guys were phenomenal, you did a free assessment for me, where, you know, I gave you access to my eBay store, I gave you access to my Walmart store, I gave you access to the, you know, the suspended Amazon store. Greg, you know, within your company there, he took the time, even after hours, to dive in, extremely experienced gentleman, really pleasurable meeting him the other day. And, you know, him being able to go in there and say, hey, this is my score for this, this is what we can do for you, and you broke it down very legibly. And then you guys offered me the opportunity, of course, you know, to say, okay, we can get your Amazon store back up and running.
04:09Dean: The fact that you guys took the time to explain to me exactly how you differentiate yourself in the eBay market, you know, how going, you know, directly sourcing your products that you sell on eBay, you know, from individuals themselves, and thereby having invoices from them and doing the shipping directly from them. So you're saving shipping costs and things of that nature. So really just what I've experienced with you guys and how honest you were about TikTok, you know, like, okay, you know, we can take over the TikTok store and that would be great, but, you know, it's going to be like peaks and flows, you know, and you guys are very, you're very honest and upfront, you know, you'll go months without making anything. And then, you know, you could make, you could explode. It can go viral. Right. So, again, it's, it's transparency, it's professionalism, and it's just the fact that, you know, hey, if I'm on Slack and I communicate with you guys, I do hear back from you, you know.
04:55Dean: The startup with these, with the other two companies were so, it was like, it was so unprofessional. It was just like, okay, give me your EIN number, you know, just give me this, this, this, and you're done. And it was like, no, no, no handholding whatsoever. You know, they didn't give a crap that I didn't know anything about what I was getting into. Where you guys, on the other hand, you literally provide us, you know, with a step-by-step, okay, this is what you need to do. This is the timeframe. This is what we're going to handle. So the fact that you guys were willing to spell out, step-by-step, every step, you know, everything that we needed to do to get everything going was huge. You know, I felt like I was, I had a partner rather than I was just left to my own, you know, my own inexperience to tackle something. And that was really good because I could tell that you guys cared, number one, and that you knew what you were doing, number two.
05:43Dean: You know, um, I think we know each other enough to say, you know, what I do think needs to be said to people is you do need to be available. Um, it's, it's, it's, it's hands off, but at the same time, there will be things that you will need to do. Um, you know, you will need to be available if something does occur with your credit card or something like that. If, you know, if there's an OTP or if there's, you know, something along those lines. Um, so is it hands off 99%, you know, 98% hands off, but if Lamont sends you a message, you know, you do want to get back to him as soon as possible. Right. Or if Greg or one of the team members, you know, need to shout to you. Um, and you just need to look at it as truly a win-win situation. You know, the more, the more you're willing to, to understand and be involved, the better it's going to be for, for everybody. You know, obviously once we get over the, the initial things that they have to do, that the new client has to do, then it becomes a lot more hands off. Now, then now it's just reporting, checking in, you know, telling you how your stores are doing and, and, and, and closing it out there. But, you know, initially, um, beginning and starting there, there is like, like you said, going to be a little bit of work to do. First month or two, you do need to be somewhat committed. You know, you need to sign here and you need to do different things and get the business going. And then after that, really, like you said, it's, you know, you guys are really good at, you know, weekly, you know, weekly, bi-weekly communications. This is where we're at. This is what we've invested in. This is what the company is doing as a whole for you. These are the new staff members that we want to introduce you to. I mean, you guys have been really great.
07:08Dean: it's like a house, right? Either you could build a house on sand or you could build a house with a strong foundation. Right. And what I, what I took from our relationship and working with Wealth Automators is you guys are more about building the foundation with cinder block, you know, rather than on sand. You know, and it took, it takes two to three months, you know, I mean, if you're going to be honest, it takes two months minimum, you know, to get all your ducks in a row, you know, it takes that much. And it's not two months of full-time work, but it's two months of, you know, I need you for a couple of minutes to do this. I need you for a little time to do that. Right. So, you know, and it takes a little bit of time for you to be approved by certain things and whatever. Um, but like you said, after that couple of months, you know, month to two month period, you know, you're ready to pretty much rock and roll.
07:48Vicki: This is my first store. I was a little hesitant to sign at first just because I didn't know anything about e-com or business, but I'm really glad now that I took that leap.
08:01Vicki: I researched a lot of different companies. It all kind of seemed too good to be true, but your team made everything seem really reasonable and just made the whole process smooth as could be.
08:14Vicki: It's been great. Something that kind of stood out to me is that you guys haven't made any false promises. Everything that you've said has been done. It's been pretty clear since the beginning.
08:25Vicki: It's been great. You guys always notify me when or if I need an action item or something. And your detailed guidance is always clear and understandable.
08:36Vicki: It definitely took some time to get to where it is now. So just hang in there. It's a million times better than it was when I first started.
08:46Lisa: My reserve is that I, as Lamont will know, I am a very, I don't really trust a lot of people, especially when it comes to mine and my husband's money. We work really hard for our money. So for me, putting it out there and the startup was scary because, you know, we have this money that we've saved and we're taking a chance on investing. So my concerns were, obviously, is this a scam? Is this really worth it? Should we just be safe and put it in a savings account or should we take the leap? And now, since we've been involved with Wealth Automators for a while, I feel more comfortable just because of the transparency, like I said earlier. And, you know, when we call somebody answers, I'm not talking to a machine. So that gives me a lot of comfort and, you know, we'll see where it goes. I'm, you know, I'm hoping that I can retire sooner than later.
09:39Lisa: So I've been impressed, honestly, since the beginning. I just feel like somebody who, like me, who isn't very familiar with e-com or anything outside of the ordinary, I felt very comfortable. I was, every question I had was answered. Even questions I didn't know I needed to ask were answered. The material was up front. It was printable. The staff and every single person we've talked to has gotten back to us within 24 hours. And I just, I have to say, I feel, I feel very comfortable with it. I'm very happy.
10:14Lisa: I would tell them to do their homework, look into other places, talk to other companies, and then come back to Wealth Automators, compare it and ask them any questions or concerns you may have, because they've been very honest and upfront.
10:29Lisa: I would say if this is something that you're interested in, you would really need to have a good computer and have good internet and, and have, have a little patience because it's not an immediate, it's not an immediate thing. You know, you're investing in your future and, and your future doesn't happen in a minute. So I would just say patience and having the resources around you to make it successful. So if you're interested in, in the e-com business and, and you looked into other companies and, and all that, I would say you should go with Wealth Automators. They have far surpassed any other place that, that we have researched and talked to.
11:06Jake: Honestly, finding a legit agency that can turn back results. Getting that return on a timely manner, that's the way it was.
11:16Jake: I wanted additional revenues without a full commitment into management and long-term.
11:25Jake: Well, I was skeptical at first, but after seeing the growth and then experiencing that growth, I couldn't have made a better choice.
11:35Jake: Oh, it was always short, sweet, and to the point.
11:40Jake: Oof. I'd still be working a solid nine to five and not being able to have more free time with family and everything like that.
11:52Jake: Absolutely. Because having your team behind me saves me a lot of time and headaches.
11:59Client on logistics: Finding the time to work out the numbers to get my logistics together, shipping, customers, the information. I just really needed one place to put everything.
12:10Client on logistics: I had heard, you know, the talk around town, checked it out online and decided to just give it a shot. I had a goal in mind and the company met my goal and exceeded it within the short time frame that I had been with the company.
12:24Client on logistics: Well, it has freed up a lot of time for me to spend time with my grandchildren before they go off to college.
12:33Client on logistics: Account messaging has been quick. The customers get a hold of me right away. My shipping is awesome. And I just have so much more free time with your company's expertise handling this logistics for me.
12:46Client on logistics: I hear from your team within 24 hours with any problems.
12:52Client on logistics: I think I would still be stalling at that mid-range level, just not really able to get above the bar because I just did not have the time to spread around.
